Is it possible that the sd card reader on the laptop will not read a 4gb
card? I know there are a lot of card readers currently on the market that
won't read a card that large but it would be rather pathetic if the x60s
happened to have one like that. Transcend makes an inexpensive card reader
(USB 2.0) that accepts such large cards http://tinyurl.com/yxutqa .
Generally, you should format the card in your camera. I have a Canon A620
and it formats and works well with the 4 GB SD cards which are then readable
in the Transcend reader.
