JOB ID:71- Two Junior Network Administrators/Technical Support-Full Time - Toronto Description: This is a Junior Network Administrator/Technical Support role including working with customers and other technical support personnel and management systems to support problem resolution and ensure timely and accurate changes to the systems, as required. You must have excellent communications and presentation skills as you will be required to do both phone and Desk-side support visiting directly at client's site Requirements: •Community College graduates with computer science background, AND /Or Possess a diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in a relevant discipline (eg: telecommunications) •Computer implementation knowledge, monitoring, que •Basic Knowledge of Windows, UNIX •Must have good communication skills as they will be supporting our Clients' clients •Our client is seeking Sharp young people (graduates, etc) – that can be promoted in a relatively short time frame (6 months) Nice to have but not required: •Knowledge and/or experience of key network hardware and associated software for a variety of networking and convergence technologies, i.e.: Switches, Routers, VPN and IP-Telephony, e.g. switches, routers, gateways, firewalls, Frame Relay, TCP/IP, PABX, VoIP •The ability to work autonomously on time sensitive problems and know when it is time to escalate to more senior resources. •The ability to maintain good customer relations in technically challenging and sometimes emotional situations Qualities: •Looking for relatively young people •Tech savvy • Our client is looking for candidates whom enjoy their job, have a positive attitude •Possess professional communication skills •Please note: This is not a 9-5 job .
