Government Contract- - Senior Business Analyst - Toronto Project Description: The purpose of this project is to replace the existing Accounts Payable system. The project is currently in planning for the implementation of the IFS Accounts Payable application. Description of Duties/Scope of Work: The key responsibility of the senior business analyst (SBA) will be to implement the IFS Accounts Payable application using the IFS Implementation Methodology within our client’s environment. This includes tasks required to: ·implement work routines, such as analyze and develop business process models, operating procedures and guidelines, process model scenarios, user profiles and security restrictions , specifications, basic data; co-ordinate QA review and lead stakeholder review and approval ·deliver the application solution such as prepare for the acceptance of IFS modifications, co-ordinate installation of modification package and acceptance testing, develop reports, advanced queries and forms, review manuals and documentation templates, develop end user training strategy ·perform data migration such as analyze IFS data structure, create extract scripts, develop migration process ·establish integration and interfaces such as review design specifications and system integration testing · co-ordinate system installation, testing and roll-out Special Skills/Certification Required: ·5+ years extensive Business Analysis experience ·excellent communication and documentation skills ·previous experience with Financial and Supply Chain applications, specifically Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Inventory and Purchasing ·previous experience with Financial software both legacy (CA/CAS, GEAC) and enterprise (IFS, SAP, etc) ·experience working with Windows XP and Microsoft Office Suite ·experience wit legacy batch based transaction systems and tools (CICS VSAM, Focus, PL/1, JCL, Cobol and EASYTRIEVE) would be useful ·knowledge of Oracle Designer as asset ·knowledge of business functions and information systems a definite asset Deliverables: ·Weekly status reports ·Project documentation as required by IT Services including charters, plans, requirements, specifications, process models, detail design, strategy, test plans, and various system design and implementation documents. ____________ To apply to this excellent opportunity or if you know of a friend or relative who match these skills, please forward resumes in a word format to:jobs@profilesolutions.com Apply information: Please include the job header in the subject of your e-mail.
