Government 1 Year Contract++-Systems Analyst - Toronto Estimated Start Date:13 March 2007 Project Details and Requirements Project Description: Multiple projects are to be implemented during the course of the assignment. Several projects are implementations of vendor-customized software to a user base of approximately 200. Project deliverables are structured to provide a platform with progressive stability and functionality. Projects are diverse in complexity and include time management software and database upgrades. Description of Duties/Scope of Work: Working under the supervision of a Senior Systems Analyst, the Systems Analyst will be responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of solutions to various business groups. The candidate will develop project implementation plans and deliverables, jointly with client and other technical areas. Timely and accurate communication are essential in this role. For in-house developed solutions, the ability to read, write and document code may be required. Special Skills/Certification Required: Minimum of 3 years programming experience in a client server environment. Experience in software architecture Experience in leading small to medium sized projects Experience in designing, development and support of software solutions Working knowledge of Windows XP and MS Office. Demonstrated experience complemented by a university degree or college diploma.
