Hello Anything that addresses environment is good I still think though after talking to epa and looking at the links for global warming and more co2 in the atmosphere that pollution of the air remains one of the most dangerous constant environmental dangers on earth especially in those areas effected. Unless sane people demand to find out the exact costs and imnpacts in dollars and lives. all people are going to be left with is illness and death and not a way in the world to combat its growing threat. Right now millions of people are losing their lives and health due to pollution. If our area is any example we are getting more days of particle pollution then years previously and tv ignores it while we are pumped with commercials for cancer and heart disease and nebulizers more then anything else. We are and certain areas are getting more pollution and getting more adversely affected. allot of people are affected differently. I know too many in the immediate area to think its just my reaction. I have said hundreds of times the way to get past our own subjective reaction is to look at more objective ratings. Like the American Lung Assoication... Like Sperlings ratings of cities, Like airnow website. Like our rating for Cancer and Heart Disease. Like that rating from Mens magaize awhile back All devastating ratings for Philly. Of course you live here and you wanta make sense of it well , you do an excellent job. Me? As someone who has seen the variables and sees the commercials for cancer and heart disease and nebulizers and prescription drugs... ( I think those industries are now close to top two in advetisers in this area) it all adds up to Philly being what the American Lung Association says F RATED. The violence that comes with that rating is equally not surprising. This is what happens when negative control and pollution strangles people .often poor people. ... I think we need to sue mcsantpollution@yahoo.com
