Free to a good home: A whole mess of computers and monitors, about 5 years old. The PCs, from Compaq and eMachines, are mostly in the 500MHz-processor range. Keyboards, mice, 56K modems, and ethernet cards for all. And crappy little speakers for most. Some of them have recently been tested and are known to work, others are not so well-off, perhaps missing floppy, hard drives or RAM. I think there are about ten PCs and five 17" monitors. All the monitors work fine. If you like them, we have five more in storage; it would take a few days notice to retrieve them. Also some other random stuff if you want it - short ethernet patch cables, a 24-port 10baseT hub. Strong preference is given to someone who is willing to take the whole lot away at once. The stuff is in downtown DC, near Connecticut and K. Available for inspection and removal during business hours only.
