I'm a little more exited about this one than most of the junk I've been churning out lately: http://www.troelsoxenvad.com/music/Zoom_3.mp3 I got a little battery powered Zoom 8 track, great for practicing and starting songs. This one started out on that, then got transferred to SONAR for leads, drums, bass and mixing. The clean (compressed though) guitar are recorded with the Zoom, and I ended up tracking the bass through it also, because I like the dirty amp modeling it does. All comments welcome! TO

Nice sounds and composition and I like the rawness of it and the harmonies are very cool and nicely mixed into place. The ascending guitar run that comes up a few times begins to sound like a habit as opposed to intent, but it's not a big deal. If I were the buyer I might ask that you just use it once, and the other times just something simple that blends with the following melody. But, as always ... top notch stuff TO. What'cha'been up to? Crankin' out tones of tracks for money I hope. Steve Karl

Thanks Steve, yeah, I know what you mean about the runs, it's a new lick, I got carried away... I've been dealing with some personal stuff lately and haven't had much energy to spare, music has been work that needed to get done without much inspiration and fun involved, but that's hopefully going to change. Thanks for asking. I've been swamped with normal life stuff for a while and have been stuck on one piece of music since Nov. But I've just begun to see the ending which is about 32 bars away ...... :-P sk

Nice! I kinda reminds me of some of the grooves that Bela Fleck and the Flecktones get. Not that it sounds anything like any of their songs, but the air about it has that same effect. -- Remove YourHeadFromYourAss to Reply by email ________ ____ / ____/ /__ ____ ____ / __ )____ / / __/ / _ \/ __ \/ __ \/ __ / __ \ / /_/ / / __/ / / / / / / /_/ / /_/ / \____/_/\___/_/ /_/_/ /_/_____/\____/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- Glennbo http://www.soundclick.com/glennbo Non-Linear Sound http://www.soundclick.com/jambits Hear My Music http://www.soundclick.com/ThePseudonyms
