Please see below details of a forthcoming concert for children in
Cambridge. This should be a brilliant fun introduction to orchestral
music for children.
CAMBRIDGE PHILHARMONIC SOCIETY
Sunday 4th February 2007 - 2.00pm and 4.00pm West Road Concert Hall,
Cambridge
WILLIAMS: Harry Potter Suite
PATTERSON: Roald Dahl's Little Red Riding Hood
Narrator: David Timson
BUGS BUNNY: What's Up at the Symphony
MARTLAND: Oranges and Lemons
What could be better than the company of characters from classic
children's literature on a Sunday afternoon? Just add music written or
arranged by contemporary composers and the mix is complete to bring to
life these well-loved stories. David Timson returns to West Road
bringing with him a host of characters from Little Red Riding Hood. With
words by Roald Dahl and music by Paul Patterson then we know that we are
in for a special treat.
This brilliant addition to concerts for children in Cambridge is too
good to miss so come and spend a great afternoon with the orchestra and
chorus.
The concert will last one hour without an interval.
If you like, please dress up as your favourite character from Harry
Potter or Red Riding Hood stories!
