QUALIFICATIONS: - *Only candidates residing in the Bay area will be considered - MS or better in CS, CE or EE - 5+ years experience working with audio / video signal processing algorithms. - Must have strong video background with sound experience on the following technologies: MPEG-2, H.264, AC3 - Experience with C/C++, MATLAB - MPEG encoding/decoding experience - Good communication and interpersonal skills. DESIRABLE: - Experience with any of the following: Scaling, image enhancement, de-interlacing, film detection, motion estimation, color spaces, color manipulation, noise reduction, analog encoding / decoding, Y/C separation, spatiotemporal dithering, LCD display properties and possibilities for enhancement - Experience in LCD TV, DTV, set-top box, DVD and other audio / video systems and processing technologies preferred. - SIMULINK - Experience with embedded system C or assembly coding and optimization skills on DSP. - Experience with RTOS, real-time systems, broadband software development.
