Intelligent Technology Solutions is a North American leader in providing executive search services to the microelectronics and engineering sectors We are seeking a SR or Staff level Linux Firmware Engineer for our San Jose based client RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop verification firmware in C and Assembly for video processors, running on MIPs processors and Linux RTOS QUALIFICATIONS: -* Only local candidates residing in the Bay area will be considered - BS or better in EE,CE or CS - 5+ years of embedded firmware development experience for SoCs - Hands-on Linux firmware and/or device driver development with GNU C and/or Assembly for MIPS architecture is a must, with strong multi-threads and multi-processors developing experience, and FPGA firmware development experience. - Good knowledge of using ROMTER, ICE, Oscilloscope and Data Analyzer for firmware debugging. - Requires good written skills for design documentation *and bilingual (English and *Mandarin) communication to be able to collaborate with other developing groups both in the US and Asia.
