We grandly invite you to Sensible Prejudices, "The Bad Jane Ball" with
Congress of Vienna, Waltzes, and Jane Austen era dances
on Saturday April 28th, 2007
at the San Mateo Masonic Lodge (100 N. Ellsworth at Tilton, San Mateo)
Music by the Divertimento Dance Orchestra
under the direction of James Langdell
Accessible country dances taught on the fly by Alan Winston; it helps if you
can walk, listen, and know right from left most of the time.

The date will be Monday, Oct 21st 1811. The night of Mr.
Lucas's Assembly where Elizabeth and Darcy first meet.
And any other Jane Austen characters who want to come along!
For those looking for color themes for outfits, the stage will be
dainty in a white with floral print, somewhat of a
tearoom in look, not too grand, but certainly respectable:
